First, boil the chicken for approximately 7 minutes, then turn off the heat and soak the chicken meat into the boiling water for 20 minutes, drain off the oil. "Boil the chicken with spices so that the meat will be more savoury," he said.

"Eventhough, chicken remains soft and cooked," he said. Once it is drained off the oil, then cut the chicken into thick slices and serve it on a plate with toppings such as bread crumbs, pieces of red and green peppers, and crispy fried garlic. To add freshness, prepare baby pakcoy, steamed vegetable, sliced tomatoes, and cucumbers as well.

On that occasion, Hendry also shares the recipes of cooking Charsiew Charcoal Barbeque Beef Ribs. "To make these ribs at home, rub ribs weighing at 250 grams with 3 kinds of sauces; bean, hoisin, and sesame," he said. "Add sugar, chicken powder, and red tofu."
